Viking Sea’s restaurant staff put on a beautiful champagne (well sparkling) and Bloody Mary brunch this morning in the Winter Garden. This wasn’t done on our cruise last year and in fact it appears to me that this executive chef tries to put on more special events than we experienced in the past. At least every other evening there is a special night including a fresh grill station in the World Cafe. Last night was Greek and we have had Asian, Seafood and several others.
The pasta station-pesto, butter&garlic, tomato with mussels or shrimps. Also, hand carved prosciutto!
Fruits including fresh lychee dragonfruit and passion fruit.
Egg Benedict (salmon and ham) and waffles
Antipasto including steak tartare and lots of marinated olives
Breads…how does that wine bottle stay up???
