Landed right about on time and got home about 7:40 pm…or 1:40 am body time and since we had that 5:30 alarm, it’s been a long long day so off to bed. ‘Night.
Edited to add picture.
But the picture won’t Load. Surfice it to say it involves champagne #5
Rose’ this time post massage on the Concorde Terrace. Great place to watch planes.
Massage was 15 minutes on one of those kneeling seats so now my legs need one!
The conference room chairs are repurposed seats from one of the original Concorde aircrafts. Notice the tray tables that are now inoperable. But the headrests still go up and down.
Even ate the beans…still don’t understand them but the black pudding was delish. I could grow to like this (as Marie would say) “proper” way to prepare for a long flight. I didn’t realize that they had tables for one in addition to the tables for 2 and 4.
Now it’s off to our massages!
9:28 arrival at gate in Terminal 3
10:22 champagne #1
Just as with Air France, European domestic business class doesn’t provide additional leg room, only a blocked middle seat…in the case of British Air, they install a table across it. And just my luck there is a tall guy behind me so not only are my knees pressed against the seat in front, I get to feel his pressing into my back!
Oh well, it is only a 2 hour-ish flight.
5:30 am Alarm
5:40 am Back up wake up call
6:00 am Shuttle to airport
6:44 am Sitting in lounge waiting for flight to London to board at 7:10.
And the selfie stick New Jersey ladies from our Viking tour group are here too….hopefully they won’t be joining us in the Concorde Room!
